New Enterprising Bristol Awards were launched yesterday to celebrate the city’sentrepreneurial spirit – and support bid for government funds.
The Enterprising Bristol Awards aim to recognise the achievement of individuals or groups who have used creativity and innovation to achieve outstanding entrepreneurial success – in businesses, social enterprises, community activities or voluntary work. The categories are:
- Bristol Enterprise of the Year Award
- Diversity Award
- Brunel rising star award
- Female Entrepeneur Award
- Community Impact Award
Nominations are open now at www.bristol-city.gov.uk/business and the closing date is July 10th 2006.
