Enterprising Bristol awards

New Enterprising Bristol Awards were launched yesterday to celebrate the city’sentrepreneurial spirit - and support bid for government funds.

The Enterprising Bristol Awards aim to recognise the achievement of individuals or groups who have used creativity and innovation to achieve outstanding entrepreneurial success - in businesses, social enterprises, community activities or voluntary work. The categories are:

• Bristol Enterprise of the Year Award
• Diversity Award
• Brunel rising star award
• Female Entrepeneur Award
• Community Impact Award

Nominations are open now at www.bristol-city.gov.uk/business and the closing date is July 10th 2006.
