Technology decision makers move to SW

The National Technology Strategy Board announced today that they will be moving to the South West.

The Department for Trade and Industry announced on November 1, that the Board would become an independent body and its main location will be Swindon.

The Board has a key role in supporting collaborative research and development in the UK, and ensure that science and technology are exploited for maximum economic benefit. It will also be responsible for the Government’s £178million Technology Programme.
