"Work 2.0: The future of work" Innovation Seminar

July 16, 2007 Posted by Kevin in : Bristol , trackback

Connecting Bristol are hosting a lunchtime Innovation Seminar in Bristol on July 23.

Technology is rapidly changing where, when and how people work. For employers, “ultra-flexible working” is increasing access to a previously untapped workforce. For employees, Work 2.0 means greater access to jobs, work-life balance and freedom to work at home, nearer to home, or in new collaborative workspaces.

This seminar will showcase 3 radically new ways of “doing work”

*Slivers of Time - creating an ultra-flexible employment market place in Bristol – Jan Tomlinson, Tomorrow’s People
*Homeshoring - an inclusive model of neighbourhood home working – Peter Goodwin, Accelerate Nottingham
*The Hub - successfully establishing a shared workspace – Mike Zeidler, The Hub

There will be a buffet from 12 noon, with presentations from 12.30pm - 1.30pm.

Places are free but limited. If you would like to attend please email your details to info@connectingbristol.org
