Laptop to Sarajevo

November 1, 2007 Posted by Kevin in : Bristol , trackback

Bristol Wireless and Byteback have recently worked together with the Healing Hands Network to provide a laptop to help Amir, a 27 year resident of Sarajevo, gain the qualifications he needs to find work.

Amir was very nearly a victim of the Bosnian Civil war. Aged 14 he was shot whilst traveling on the Tram to school. His life was saved by surgeons working under fire.

The Healing Hands Network hope that he will be able to use laptop to study for an English Proficiency course which would allow him to go into teaching.
