It is often quoted that ICT is responsible for the same level of carbon emmissions as the airline industry. Connecting Bristol is working nationally with Digital Challenge partners and locally with Knowle West Media Centre and others to try to turn this around, a big challenge!
It is interesting to see that Greenpeace has launched an interactive virtual city showcasing how towns and cities across the UK are fighting climate change and enjoying a cleaner and more secure energy future.
The new online town is called EfficienCity
