I noticed that Sky News has been live blogging the Budget in Twitter. For major news announcements I thought that this medium works well and feeds our desire for real time news.
This form of news broadcast is not new, as outlined in my blog, as the Orlando Sentinel recently Twitted live news about the Atlantis and Endeavor space suttle launches. BBC, ITN, CNN, New York Times and Montage all broadcast their news real time on Twitter.

I must say though I am thoroughly confused about what is in the budget and what and isn’t in it now. I blame the rolling news analysis? Perhaps the FT tomorrow will be a better way to digest the budget news……
