BRISTOL’S organic multi-award-winning supermarket, The Better Food Company, is launching a free online Better Health Campaign in July.

The St Werburghs-based supermarket will offer experts’ nutritional tips and recipes, yoga exercises, relaxation techniques and supplement advice to help people get fit for winter.

As well as the online campaign there will be tie-in health offers at the supermarket, while the Relaxation Centre in Clifton is supporting the scheme with special deals.

Better Food Company Managing Director Phil Haughton, said: “It’s all part of our holistic service to customers.

“The Better Health Campaign is an extension of what we offer. It’s not just about staving off coughs and colds but about feeling better in mind and body.”

A free launch party with canapés and drinks will be held at the Better Food Company, on Thursday, July 9th from 6pm.

The Better Food Company was set up by Phil Haughton 10 years ago, who has been passionate about organic food in the city since 1987.

It now employs more than 50 people and was shortlisted in the top three for this year’s Observer Ethical Awards for Best Local Retailer as well as runner up in the Observer Food Monthly’s Best Independent Shop.

The supermarket has also won accolades from The Soil Association and came in the top three of the Natural and Organic Awards.
