Knowle West Media Centre are holding a series of workshops aimed at teaching the skills required to develop a community website using Wordpress. Wordpress is a quick and free way of creating a web-site. By the end of the session all attendees will have created their own basic site.
There will be three identical 2.5 hour sessions:
Tue 7 Sept 2010, 10am – 12.30pm,
Tue 7 Sept 2010, 1.30pm – 4pm,
Thur 30 Sept 2010, 10am – 12.30pm
The workshops are free, but as places are limited please book in advance by calling Makala at the Knowle West Media Centre on 01179 030 444.
It will be useful for attendees to have some ideas of the sort of site that you want to create, some mages if possible, and a web-based email account that you can access which is needed for the registering process. If you haven’t got one theer are a wide ranges of free and simple options.
