Wii Bowling
This event has been organised by Housing21 to celebrate Silver Surfers Day. Upto 150 older people are expected to come along today to get hands on experience of a wide range of digital tech, including iPads, Wii, digital cameras, and to hear about the Councils Computer Recycling scheme.
MP for Bristol North West, Charlotte Leslie, will be attending this afternoon, and has said;
For so many of our elderly who are isolated and often lonely, digital communication can be life-changing- but getting into IT can be intimidating at all ages so this scheme is so valuable in helping the older generation access the digital world.
