Event :How ICT can help individuals create a sustainable energy systems, Bristol, 13 June, 14:00 – 17:00

Recently there has been a lot of focus on how ICT business solutions and machine to machine (M2M) activities, driven by data, can promote change around energy use. These interventions are critical, but systemic change can also be driven by the on-going development of ICT platforms that help people to communicate, collaborate and innovate better together.

This seminar will explore how ICT is an enabler of sustainability by educating and connecting people and by encouraging easier collaboration. You’ll get the chance to hear from people working at the cutting edge – from communities producing and managing their own energy, to the opportunities presented by collaborative consumption and peer to peer technologies. You’ll have plenty of time to quiz the panel and give your views, before rounding the whole thing off with an opportunity to network.
