Vodafone has announced that it is increasing its investment in Bedminster based Invitation Digital, the parent company of Vouchercloud, setting it up for significant expansion.
Vouchercloud offers money off goods and services in stores and restaurants. The service locates nearby shops, restaurants and cinemas etc offering discounts, and allows the user to download a voucher to obtain a discount.
Greg Le Tocq, the managing director of the firm, recognises that being located in Bristol has played a part in the companies enormous success;
“When we first started there was just the three of us and now there is a team of 70 working for this company in Bedminster, which is about to become a world leader in its chosen field. Bristol is a great city and there are plenty of firms out there who are leading the way in the digital and communications market. This is a real hotbed of talent and expertise and as a company we are a great example of what can be achieved. I actually think that the market is going to explode over the next few years and we are just at the beginning of the trend.”
