The Microelectronics iNet has launched an innovation competition for South West based businesses. The competition is open to SMEs in all industry sectors and will unlock up to £5,000 support to enable external expertise to allow businesses to innovate, develop and grow.
The core themes for this iNet are;
- Microelectronics
- Digital Communications
- Photonics
and projects in the following areas are expected (other areas may be supported too);
- Power management, and energy efficient sustainable technology
- Smart grids
- Transport, including marine
- Healthcare, wellbeing and medical electronics
- Smart communities
- Test and verification
- Industrial, instrumentation
- M2M communications
- Security
