Is it a School day or a Snow Day?

Within 48 hours of bad weather hitting the country Directgov has developed a new website exploring ways of letting parents and carers know if their child’s school has closed.
The school closures site is at http://schoolclosures.org.uk (although is temporarily off line) and is looking for comment from the developer community and the public.
