10th Transport Data Initiatives EventInnovation
Bristol City Council was keen to support the 10th Transport Data Initiatives event that was held at Bristol in June. The event covered transport innovation for local authorities and how local authorities can make the most use of the resources that are available.
Matthew Cockburn, BCC – Project Manager specialising in Smart Mobility gave a presentation on how to successfully work on innovation projects and get them funded. His talk gave an overview of the City Innovation team’s transport innovation projects from work around automation of cars to live transport data. Furthermore Matthew spoke about how to keep innovation in the public sector sellable and the benefits long term partnerships can have on creating a successful innovation project.
