A pilot Gigabit Voucher Scheme from the UK Government is now available to SME businesses and other organisations in the Bristol City and Bath & North East Somerset council areas.

Eligible businesses and organisations could get up to £3,000 towards the cost of getting gigabit-ready broadband.

How the scheme works?

To see if your business or organisation could benefit from the scheme, the first step is to find a registered supplier.

Find a supplier registered on the scheme.

There is no application process to complete, if a registered supplier can provide a gigabit capable connection to your business premises they will offer the voucher as a discount towards the installation costs.

Visit the Gigabit Voucher Scheme website for more details.

Funding from the trial is limited, so businesses  are encouraged to contact a registered supplier on the scheme as soon as possible!

Businesses don’t need to take the full gigabit from the outset, but the new connection must be capable of delivering gigabit broadband.   Vouchers from the scheme can also be combined to bring a new gigabit network to an area, like for example, a small business park.

The Gigabit Voucher Scheme is offered by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport of the UK Government.
