Bristol will be holding its first broadband speed test day on Thursday 29th June and we need the help of Bristol-focused social media accounts to get as many people, businesses and organisations as possible to run a speed test.
Please join our Thunderclap to set up an automated timed tweet to help spread the message on the day:
Join the Thunderclap for Bristol’s Broadband Speed Test Day
Why are we doing this:
Getting as many people as possible speed testing will collect data to help our wider plans to improve Bristol’s broadband infrastructure.
Bristol’s Broadband Speed Test day will help:
- map broadband speeds and better understand our ‘not spots’ and areas of slow connectivity
- provide data for Bristol’s bids for new investment in our broadband infrastructure
- highlight existing options to access superfast broadband to boost take up
- encourage people to complete our business and residents’ broadband survey to help us understand demand for new full-fibre, ultrafast services
Thank you for supporting our Thunderclap.
